Backgrounds Sized for Any Snake Enclosure

Our 3D reptile backgrounds cover the back wall with realistic rock texture in eight styles, from rocky and crevice textures to ledges. For large or unusual enclosures, custom backgrounds are made to your exact dimensions in styles like Basalt, Cavern Wall and Texas Wall, with three-sided options.

Each piece is hand-colored with real crushed rock and natural sands, with no fiberglass and no paint. Install it with silicone or screws, depending on what your enclosure is made of.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are your products safe for snakes? +

Yes. Our reptile products are pet-safe and non-toxic for ball pythons and other reptile species.

Which water bowl is best for a large snake? +

Rock Bowl 023 holds 1.5 gallons and is made for medium to large snakes and lizards. For big pythons, Rock Bowl 020 holds 6 gallons.

Can I cut a background or rock to fit? +

Yes. Reptile style rocks can be cut to size or modified to create hides with a fine tooth blade, saw or straight blade knife. Warm material cuts more easily.

How long do custom backgrounds take? +

General lead time is 1 to 3 weeks. Custom pieces take longer to make than standard sizes.

Can rock hides go in water? +

They can, but our reptile decoration rocks float in water, so use them as hides in dry areas of the enclosure. For items that need to sink, choose the Aqua style of the same rock.

How do I clean it? +

Use any method you're comfortable with, from a brush to a pressure washer. A little residue may come off, and it won't affect the product. See our installation and care instructions for more.
