A Steep Technical Arch Built for Serious Crawling
The Moab Arch is a technical RC crawler obstacle designed for drivers who want a steeper, more challenging feature in their course layout. With a realistic layered rock look and an arched center opening, this piece works great as a standalone challenge, display feature, or add-on obstacle for a larger crawler setup.
Use it on its own for approach-angle practice, breakover testing, and summit attempts, or combine it with our rock kits and bridge models to create a more complete crawler course. The Moab Arch gives your layout height, visual impact, and a difficult line that rewards throttle control, tire placement, and a well-set-up rig.
Technical Specs:
- Product: Moab Arch RC crawler obstacle.
- Approx. Dimensions: 26" Long x 13" Wide x 10" High.
- Weight: Approximately 8 lbs.
- Challenge Level: Advanced. This piece is steep and is best suited for experienced drivers or modified crawlers.
- Recommended Use: Standalone challenge, display piece, course add-on, or technical feature used with rock kits and bridge models.
- Realistic Rock Texture: Designed with natural-looking layered rock detail for scale realism, traction points, and a true Moab-inspired look.
- Lightweight Design: Easier to move and reposition than real rock while still giving your crawler course a natural, realistic appearance.
- Course Compatibility: Can be used on its own or combined with Universal Rocks crawler accessories, rock kits, bridges, and full crawler courses.
- Built for Technical Driving: The steep approach and arch shape create a serious test of traction, balance, throttle control, and breakover clearance.
- Best for Modified Rigs: Stock crawlers may have a hard time summiting this obstacle. It is better suited for modified crawlers, weighted setups, upgraded tires, or experienced drivers looking for a harder line.
- Multiple Approach Options: Use the arch from either side, approach it straight on, or combine it with other obstacles to create more technical entry and exit lines.
- Great for Skill Building: Practice tire placement, controlled climbs, steep descents, and recovery from off-balance positions.
- High-Impact Course Feature: The arch design gives your course a strong visual centerpiece while adding real driving difficulty.
- Standalone Obstacle: Set it up by itself for a compact technical challenge or display piece.
- Course Add-On: Add the Moab Arch to an existing crawler course to create a steeper, more advanced section.
- Pair with Rock Kits: Use individual crawler rocks around the base to change the approach, create alternate lines, or make the summit more manageable.
- Pair with Bridge Models: Combine with bridge accessories to create transitions, elevated routes, and more complex course layouts.
- Indoor or Outdoor Use: Great for garages, hobby rooms, patios, backyards, shops, events, and RC display areas.
- Setup: Place the Moab Arch on a flat, stable surface before crawling. For added variety, place rock kits, bridges, or other obstacles around the base to change the approach and exit lines.
- Difficulty Note: This is a steep obstacle. Stock crawlers may struggle to reach the top, so we recommend it for experienced drivers, modified crawlers, or customers who want a more advanced challenge.
- Cleaning: Rinse with water or wipe clean as needed. Mild soap can be used for heavier dirt or color residue.
- Outdoor Use: Designed for indoor or outdoor crawler setups while remaining lightweight enough to move and reposition.
- Tip: To make the obstacle easier, place smaller crawler rocks or bridge pieces near the approach to create a more gradual climb. To make it harder, run it as a direct steep summit challenge.
