Bearded dragons love to climb, bask and explore. A Universal Rocks ledge background turns the back of the tank into rocky terrain with built-in shelves, adding climbing space without crowding the floor. Ledges stand out 2 to 4 inches in smaller enclosures and 3 to 7 inches in larger ones.

Every reptile background is made from our polymer blend and hand-colored with real crushed rock and natural sands. There's no fiberglass and no paint, and it's lightweight, scratch-resistant and easy to clean.

Yes. Our reptile backgrounds are pet-safe and non-toxic, made without fiberglass or paint.

What size background does my bearded dragon tank need? +

Measure the inside of your tank and match the length and height. Standard backgrounds arrive half an inch shorter than listed for an easy fit. Don't see your size? Order a custom background.

How do I install the background? +

Rinse it with a hose first. Secure it with silicone or screws, depending on your enclosure, and let silicone cure before adding substrate. See our installation and care instructions.

How do I clean it? +

Use any method you're comfortable with, from a brush to a pressure washer. A little residue may come off, and it won't affect the product.

What colors do the backgrounds come in? +

Standard backgrounds come in brown. For a different look and more color options, custom backgrounds are available in many styles and can come in up to 4 different colors.
